About the job Project Manager (Hanover, MD)
Project Manager needed for our government client in Hanover, MD. The Project Manager will plan, execute, and monitor special projects to make sure that projects will be finished on time, within the budget and as per the office goals and objectives. Three month contract position. The non-negotiable pay rate is $64.00 per hour.
Essential Duties:
- Document, design, and implement workflows in database applications.
- Maintain and streamline workflows in database applications, delegate activities, and participate in coordination efforts
to keep all parties on schedule.
- Develop and manage website content and relational databases.
- Participate in project update meetings and working group meetings.
- Manage project implementation and measure project performance utilizing web-based applications.
- Training preparation.
- Create website copy layout, design, and enhancements, ensuring team members manage data successfully.
- Identify, design, and deliver a variety of standard, custom, and ad-hoc documents, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain the project schedule and participate in coordination efforts to keep all parties on schedule.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives and community needs.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to track project milestones, budget expenditures, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or related field is required.
- Experience with website content management or relational databases is preferred.
- Experience in Change Management is required.
- Expert level skills on Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Visio, Project.
- Familiarization with Adobe Pro is required.
- Project Management Certification is a plus
- Excellent technical writing skills, and experience in developing procedures, work instructions, templates, and forms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with transportation industry standards, technologies, and best practices is desirable.
- Must be able to pass a FBI background check and drug test.
- Must be able to work from 7:30 am-4:00 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch onsite.
