Administrative Assistant needed for our education client in Baltimore City. The Administrative Assistant will provide scheduling, word processing, meeting preparation support, and data entry of building maintenance activities for two Directors. Six month contract position with possible extension.     The non-negotiable pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Essential Duties:

  • Schedules in person or virtual meetings for two Directors.
  • Composes and drafts correspondence along with reports.
  • Prepares and formats presentations to include related materials.
  • Maintains and updates manuals, guides and filing systems.
  • Orders necessary equipment and maintenance materials along with monitors annual purchases for controls of supply costs.
  • Prepares and formats presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least three years of administrative experience along with good communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
  • Must have proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
  • Must type at least 45 wpm.
  • Must be able to work from 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch on site.
  • Must be able to pass a FBI background check and drug test.
