Subject Matter Expert needed for our government client in Glen Burnie, MD. The Subject Matter Expert will conduct a comprehensive review of our current processes for leveraging data in performance management, business analytics, forecasting, predictive analytics and related disciplines. Six month contract position with possible extension. The non-negotiable pay rate is $70.00 per hour.
Essential Duties:
- Help navigate an increasingly data-driven environment, we
aim to ensure that we are effectively utilizing the vast amount of
available data we have to drive informed decision-making,
optimize operational efficiency, and implement industry best practices.
- Help assess our existing data infrastructure, analytical
methodologies, tools, and reporting frameworks to
identify opportunities for improvement, enhance predictive
capabilities, and align our strategies with cutting-edge advancements in
data analytics.
- Provide a deep understanding of data architecture,
modeling, AI-driven analytics, Data Visualization, and regulatory
compliance, ensuring leverages
data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and operational
efficiency.
- Process in data strategy
development, cross-functional collaboration, and implementing best
practices in data governance and analytics. If you have
a passion for transforming data into actionable intelligence and
driving enterprise-wide innovation.
- Implement data quality best practices, master data management (MDM), metadata management, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Align data initiatives with business objects to drive measureable outcomes.
- Provide machine learning, statistical modeling, clustering and AI-driven insights.
Qualifications:
- Must have 10+ years of experience to help assess our existing data
infrastructure, analytical methodologies,
tools, and reporting frameworks to identify opportunities for
improvement, enhance predictive capabilities, and align our strategies
with cutting-edge advancements in data analytics.
- A Masters or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Technical experience with Advanced Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling, Data Warehousing & ETL, Cloud Platforms & tools to include AWS, AZure, GCP and relevant data services is required.
- Technical
experience with Data Visualization & BI tools to include Power BI,
Tableau, Looker or similar tools and Programming and scripting to
include Python, R, SQL and other relevant languages is required.
- Must have Data Management & Governance experience in implementing data quality best practices, master data management (MDM),
metadata management, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Must have Enterprise
Data Strategy experience with the ability to align data initiatives
with business objectives to drive measurable outcomes.
- Must have Data
Architecture & Integration experience with the understanding of
data lakes, data warehouses, and API-driven integrations.
- Must have Stakeholder management, presentation development and cross-functional team leadership skills.
- Must have experience in government or related sectors.
- Must have understanding of industry-specific regulatory requirements related to data usage.
- Must have a Masters or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (preferred).
