The Group is a progressive international invest group, with diversified portfolio of assets across multiple geographies and industry sectors. The Group has an extensive presence on the African agricultural market, having established a solid reputation.

Our facilities comprise 16 hectares of high-tech greenhouses, soilless media, state-of-the-art Israeli technologies, grading & packing facilities, cold storage, in-house training centers, and advanced farm management systems, which are utilized to cultivate and market a range of high-end vegetables and crops for the local markets and export.

  1. The position

The Group is looking for an experienced and dedicated chief executive officer for its agricultural arm in Malawi, who can lead the team with an effective business strategy that will optimize the Companys operations and growth. The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for the staff, oversee team initiatives, and help make robust, data-driven corporate decisions that can elevate the Companys financial and operational performance. As the senior leader at the group the chief executive officer will foster a positive, inspiring, and collaborative work environment that empowers employees to actively work toward companywide goals.

  1. SALARY AND BENEFITS
    1. At the commencement of employment, the remuneration payable to the Employee will be as follows:
    1. The commencing salary will be a annual gross salary of USD 60.000.
  1. HOURS OF WORK
  1. The employee shall perform all job duties at a satisfactory performance level without any coordination with working schedule as the position of the CEO is demand involvement base on business need.

Annex A Employees Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Performance of Strategy and Business Plan for the Farm those set by of the Board.
    1. Develop high quality business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long term objectives set by the Board.
    2. Be the key representative of the Company in communicating important decisions to business stakeholders and the public
    3. Make strategic and financial decisions that determine the trajectory of the Company
    4. Monitor budgets, resources and procedures by workings with cross-functional teams
    5. Create positive company culture through strong, inspirational leadership
  2. Monitoring Performance and Productivity of Farm on an ongoing basis, manage the Companys overall development and ensure that general operations run seamlessly as employees accomplish the established goals.
    1. Daily, Weekly and Monthly planning, organization, supervision and administration of activities.
    2. Coordinates all on-farm activities (inclusive of farm establishment, management, operations, financials and sales) within the coordination of the Board.
    3. Control achieving the Farm production targets within the directions of the Board.
    4. Creation and implementation of sales plans, budgets, financial forecasts and reporting
    5. Execution of any and all; managerial and operational duties of the project.
  1. Within the directions of the Board provide expert guidance to all functional areas, including production, cultivation, operational, logistic, sales and marketing management team.
  2. Development of optimum schemes of Production, Cultivation, Packaging, Logistic, Maintenance with resources and Sales.
  1. Overseeing quality of implementation of Greenhouses (time, budget and deliverables).
  2. Organizing maintenance/repair of farm property, equipment and machinery.
  3. Ensuring outstanding results and a high level of quality in short and long term strategy.
  4. Ensuring compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards.
  5. Monitoring and steering the financial performance in coordination with the Board and the CFO.
  6. Identify growth opportunities.
  7. Maximize efficiencies in Operations.
  8. Selection of the personnel and management of the personnel.
  9. Providing guidance to managers within the directions of the Board.


    1. Bonus: The employee is eligible to be considered for a performance bonus at the end of each year subject to discretionary decision of the Management.
