Position Overview:

Sweve Tech LTD is looking for a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, service, and maintenance to our clients. This role requires regular commuting to customer/clients/affiliate locations, both indoors and outdoors, with significant travel across the United States and potentially internationally. The candidate must work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Field Service and Technical Support:

- Travel to various indoor and outdoor sites, including customer, vendor, and supplier facilities, to perform service tasks.

- Provide field service support at customer sites within your designated territory and travel regularly across other regions in the U.S.

- Deliver onsite technical training on the operation, repair, and maintenance of Sweve Tech products and offerings.

2. Preventive Maintenance:

- Conduct preventive maintenance services to maximize equipment uptime, ensuring it aligns with customer production schedules and equipment specifications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.

3. Collaboration and Technical Department Representation:

- Work closely with other engineering teams and technicians at customer sites, vendor locations, and within the office environment.

- Represent the Technical department in inter-departmental meetings, contributing insights to support broader company initiatives.

4. Project Oversight and Independent Task Management:

- Monitor the progress of service-related projects to ensure they meet schedules, budgets, and customer expectations.

- Perform technical tasks independently, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project objectives.

5. Travel Requirements:

- Undertake regular short-term travel as required by project assignments, including both domestic and international travel up to 50%.

- Be prepared to travel to multiple locations to support project development, installation, and maintenance efforts.

6. Daily Commuting and Independent Work:

- The role requires daily commuting to customer/client locations within your assigned area.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing time effectively to meet service commitments and client needs.

Qualifications:

- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical role.

- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex electrical or mechanical systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver technical training.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments simultaneously.

- Willingness and ability to travel extensively for work, including internationally.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in providing technical support and training to clients.

- Familiarity with preventative maintenance and service protocols in industrial or commercial environments.

- Project management experience is a plus.

For projects located outside town, hotel room accommodations and meals will be provided. Field vehicles and transportation to work areas will also be provided.
