Who You Are
We are seeking an organized Tax Manager to join our team in Salt Lake City, supporting our 10 locations across the Midwest. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality work while fostering strong relationships with our current clients. Key qualifications include the capacity to manage multiple priorities, make informed decisions, and take initiative while maintaining focus on results and performance aims. Strong staff development skills, leadership abilities, and solid time management are also essential.
Required Experience and Skills
- CPA preferred
- Bachelor's in Accounting
- Master's in Taxation (preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience in income tax preparation for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations
- Experience with Real Estate Tax preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of tax law
- Strong review skills of 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041 returns
- Strong tax research experience and skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and client relationship management
- Willingness to work > 40 hours per week during tax season
