About the job Traffic Manager
The Traffic Manager is responsible for the detailed day-to-day scheduling, overseeing, and monitoring of project workflow throughout the agency. He/She will create schedules for projects from start to completion and work with the Creative and Account Management Teams to assign resources. Working closely with the entire Account Service team, the role holder monitors and directs the movement of all jobs through the creative development process, updating schedules and team members as required.
The role holder is skilled in juggling multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines foreseeing scheduling conflicts, and taking quick action when schedules get compressed or delayed. Traffic Manager creatively manages schedules and resources, as well as collaborates closely with all team members firmly yet flexibly, meeting the ever-changing client demands, always seeking to ensure timely delivery of all projects; helping out wherever he/she can, and directing and motivating everyone to deliver their part of the job on-time and according to agreed-upon specifications.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure Designer(s) are set up for each project, understand design talents, and appropriately distribute the workload.
- Collect project information and initiates new design projects via Monday or any other project management tool.
- Modifying project design schedules and keeping resources updated on changes throughout the project design lifecycle.
- Partner with Account Management Teams to forecast and define project scopes and set appropriate timelines.
- Resolve project design issues and development backlogs; manage all escalations
- Conduct touch-base evaluation meetings with Account Management Team and Designers to best determine future process improvement
- Manage freelancers, assign design projects as appropriate, and continuously source additional freelance talent.
- Manage and maintain the inner workings of Monday.com,
- Provide monthly reporting and analysis of the workload, hours allocated, areas of concern, etc.
- Review daily workloads with the production manager/creative/art production department and adjust assignments as needed, ensuring that the appropriate talent is used and workloads are evenly maintained.
- Make adjustments to each job schedule and overall workload as job demands changes.
- Make sure each staff member knows the assignments that they need to complete and the due dates. Acts as the mediator between all Account Service members to establish and re-evaluate priorities.
