Landscape Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Engineer to join the Project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating landscape works, ensuring that all activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor's degree in landscape engineering, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or a related field.
· BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience

· Minimum 10 years of total professional experience.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant/similar experience in landscape works.

· Experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, landscaping, or development projects is preferred.

· Qatar/GCC project experience will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and coordinate all landscape construction and installation activities.

· Review and interpret approved landscape drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project documents.

· Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project teams.

· Monitor hardscape and softscape works, including paving, planting, irrigation, kerbs, outdoor features, and related works.

· Ensure landscape works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.

· Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved standards and specifications.

· Coordinate site activities and ensure proper sequencing of landscape works.

· Monitor project progress and report any technical issues, delays, or discrepancies.

· Review shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and relevant technical documents.

· Coordinate with civil, architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to avoid site conflicts.

· Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection requests, progress records, and other project documentation.

· Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures for landscape works.

· Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and site regulations.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of landscape construction and installation practices.

· Good understanding of hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and external works.

· Ability to read and interpret landscape, architectural, and engineering drawings.

· Strong coordination and site management skills.

· Good knowledge of construction materials and landscape specifications.

· Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
