Rolling Stock Technician – Heavy Maintenance (30 nos.)

Purpose of JOB:
Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated RST Technician to join our Rolling Stock Heavy Maintenance team. This is a critical role focused on ensuring the operational excellence and safety of our transit systems.
Education & Profile
- Education: Must hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Age Bracket: 25–45 years old.
- Core Skills: Heavy Maintenance, Rolling Stock Overhaul, Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Rolling Stock Maintenance.
Overhaul Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience specifically on at least one major overhaul project.
Sub-system Knowledge: Hands-on experience in the overhaul of Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics & Brakes, and HVAC sub-systems.
Technical Skills: Proficient in basic computer operations (MS Word, MS Excel) and strong communication skills.
Additional Assets: Experience in MRT or GoA4 Trains driving; possession of a Qatar, UAE, or Saudi Car Driving License is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Testing: Lead and perform rolling stock sub-system maintenance and testing in strict accordance with Maintenance Task Instructions (MTI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all performed works meet rigorous safety requirements and operational needs.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor equipment and train performance, reporting any abnormalities immediately to the RST Team Leader.
- Culture & Standards: Uphold a culture oriented toward safety, quality, and exceptional customer service within the maintenance team.
- Shift Work: Commitment to working on shifts and irregular hours as required by operational demands.
