Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning Supervisor – Piping to lead and coordinate pre-commissioning activities for major Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing piping pre-commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and completion procedures. The role requires strong technical expertise in piping systems, commissioning documentation, and project handover.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Pre-Commissioning Engineer/Supervisor in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience on EPC projects involving piping systems.
• Ras Laffan project experience will be an added advantage.

Education:

• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of piping pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Experience preparing Method Statements, JSAs, Work Packs, and commissioning documentation.
• Familiarity with completions management systems and project handover processes.
• Knowledge of SHES requirements and industry safety standards.
• Ability to prepare schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Mandatory Criteria:

• Must have Oil & Gas pre-commissioning experience.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Mechanical Engineering qualification (Diploma/B.Tech).
• Ability to join projects in Qatar.
• Ras Laffan project experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project engineering, technical, and SHES documentation before execution.
• Prepare Pre-Commissioning Method Statements, JSAs, and work packs.
• Plan and coordinate pre-commissioning schedules, manpower, and resources.
• Identify and arrange required tools, test equipment, temporary facilities, consumables, lubricants, and third-party services.
• Coordinate with the Completions team to update system and sub-system completion databases.
• Participate in constructability reviews to ensure smooth pre-commissioning and handover.
• Ensure all commissioning records, documentation, and handovers comply with project procedures.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout all pre-commissioning activities.
• Monitor progress and prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, commissioning, and client teams to achieve timely project completion
