Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fire Life Safety (FLS) Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, review, coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with applicable international standards, local regulations, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review fire protection and life safety systems.
- Coordinate fire alarm, sprinkler, hydrant, fire pump, and emergency systems.
- Review shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, and technical documents.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure installation compliance.
- Coordinate with MEP, consultants, contractors, and Civil Defense.
- Support testing, commissioning, and authority inspections.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, QCDD/Civil Defense, and project standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction projects.
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Fire, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm and firefighting systems.
- Good knowledge of NFPA and QCDD requirements.
- Experience in drawings, site inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- AutoCAD knowledge required; Revit/BIM is an advantage.
