Job Title: Training Coordinator – Water

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Training Coordinator – Water to support the planning, coordination, and administration of technical and vocational training programs. The successful candidate will coordinate training activities, manage trainee and stakeholder communications, support assessments, and ensure all training processes comply with organizational policies, quality standards, and health & safety regulations. The role serves as the primary point of contact for vocational training students and internal and external training partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the assessment and selection process for potential training candidates.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor vocational training programs and student progress.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for trainees throughout their vocational training period.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to identify training needs and schedule learning activities.
  • Liaise with external training providers, educational institutions, and business partners.
  • Maintain training records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all training activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Learning & Development initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement team to maintain ISO, Risk Management, and ISMS compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during training activities.
  • Prepare periodic reports on training programs, attendance, assessments, and outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • HR or Business Administration certification is preferred.

Professional Certifications:

  • Learning & Development specialization or certification (mandatory).
  • Marketing certification is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training Coordination, or Training Administration.
  • Experience coordinating vocational or technical training programs is preferred.
  • Experience in the utilities, water, engineering, or government sector is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Learning & Development processes and training administration.
  • Experience coordinating training schedules, assessments, and participant records.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.
