Key Responsibilities
Technical Excellence
- Maintain and repair AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and related equipment.
- Oversee lighting and power distribution systems as required.
- Execute modifications or new installations as directed by the supervisor.
- Proactively recommend the purchase of critical spare parts and consumables.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
Service Delivery & Management
- Provide high-quality, prompt, and courteous facility management service to guests and co-workers.
- Accurately report work completion or identified issues to the Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Supervise on-site contractors to ensure the highest quality of work is performed.
- Utilize CMMS to receive and close out work orders upon completion.
Job Specifications
- Education: ITI certificate in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of working experience in the GCC, specifically on large commercial buildings.
- Technical Skills: * Deep knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, and BMS systems and standards.
- Expertise in plant room systems including pumps, motors, VAV, VRF systems, precision AC units, and AHU service/repairs.
- Ability to perform ducting/piping inspections, insulation and cladding repairs, and valve servicing.
- Proficiency in diagnosing chilled water systems, DX units, and Split AC units.
- Skilled in refrigerant leak repairs, compressor replacement, and copper piping brazing/welding.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and identify faulty bearings or impellers.
- Safety: Strong working knowledge of job site safety and ability to complete company-specific safety orientations.
- Soft Skills:
- Technology: Technical knowledge of basic computer systems and MS Office.
- Language: Proficiency in English is a must.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Performance Indicators
- Increased productivity and reduced Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks.
- Timely completion of work requests and reduced equipment downtime.
- High customer satisfaction with no re-work required due to incorrect management.
