Job Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliation and other reconciliation activities
  • Ensure the timely receipt of cession data from various carriers matches contracted terms
  • Calculate and post quarterly and year-end accruals and prepaid
  • Ability to close out all necessary entries on Balance Sheet & P&L, including AJEs
  • Assist with the coordination of new accounts and system set-up of new cells in rapidly changing and expanding business environment
  • Assist with the preparation of PBC items and coordination if annual external audit requests
  • Account receivable, recording and issuances
  • Identifying and reporting to supervisory if discrepancies or issues are visible on the above reports
  • Non-cash and end-of-year Adjusting Journal Entry work
  • Maintenance of necessary company documentation (confidential & non-confidential)
  • Other recording, tracking, and classification work as needed on a per task basis
  • Other duties as needed or assigned including a wide variety of special projects and initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • B.B.A/B.S or higher degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
  • Certified Accountant license (CPA/CA) [strongly preferred]
  • Understanding of US generally accepted principles or IFRS (required)
  • Advance Excel skills
  • Experience processing in a professional Accounting or Finance related position
  • Knowledge of and ability to meet Financial and Tax deadlines
  • Understanding of Balance Sheet items (otherwise known as Statement of Financial Position)
    • Account Types and categorization
    • Properly allocating applicable transactions to Assets, Liabilities, or Equity sections
  • Understanding of P&L statement items
  • General understanding of Payroll procedures and processing
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to details and a demonstrated ability to handle complex tasks
  • Experience with insurance is strongly preferred
  • Experience with various accounting systems such as: Microsoft Dynamic 365-Business Central experience, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Zero, or Sage (preferred)

*This is going to be an on-site work. Our offices are located in Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga
