Accounting Representative Advanced Level

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Accounting Representative Advanced Level to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely receipt of cession data from various carriers matches contracted terms
• Calculate and post quarterly and year-end accruals and prepaid
• Ability to close out all necessary entries on Balance Sheet & P&L. including AJEs
• Reporting to supervisory if discrepancies or issues are visible on any reports
• Assist with the coordination of new accounts and system set-up of new cells in a rapidly changing and expanding business environment
• Assist with the preparation of PBC items and the coordination of annual external audit requests
• Other duties as needed or assigned, including a wide variety of unique projects and initiatives

Job Requirements:

• B.B.A or B.S in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Accountant license strongly preferred, but not required
• Understanding of US generally accepted accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Insurance or Reinsurance is strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to handle complex tasks
• Demonstrated experience with various accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365-Business Central experience, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Zero or Sage
