About the job Corporate Communications Manager (Contract)
We are seeking a Corporate Communications Manager on behalf of our client. This role will serve as a strategic communications advisor, partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams to elevate corporate brand visibility and advance Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong executive communication skills, media relations experience, analytical capabilities, and a business-minded approach to storytelling that aligns corporate messaging with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategic Corporate Communications
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic communications initiatives that enhance corporate reputation and brand visibility.
- Align CSR messaging with broader business objectives and measurable impact.
- Support the development and execution of integrated PR and social media strategies that amplify corporate initiatives.
Executive & Leadership Communications
- Draft, edit, and refine executive-level communications for internal and external audiences.
- Prepare press materials, leadership briefings, presentations, and key messaging documents.
- Ensure all communications are polished, on-brand, and aligned with corporate standards.
Media Relations & Public Engagement
- Coordinate press interviews, media-driven events, trade shows, and corporate conferences.
- Conduct media monitoring and analyze press coverage, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare research, agendas, and analytics to support leadership engagement strategies.
CSR & Stakeholder Alignment
- Promote Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives through compelling storytelling and strategic communications.
- Research and evaluate charitable partnerships to ensure alignment with corporate values and CSR strategy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain a corporate calendar aligned with CSR and public-facing initiatives.
Event & Showroom Communications Support
- Conduct corporate showroom tours for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support strategic expansion and utilization of showroom space to enhance brand and CSR storytelling.
- Ensure seamless execution of corporate brand campaigns and events through strong project management.
Project Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Independently manage communications projects from concept to execution with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Partner effectively across departments to ensure alignment and timely delivery of key initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, CSR communications, or related fields.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and executive communication skills.
- Experience managing media engagements and corporate events preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate media coverage and performance data into strategic recommendations.
- Ability to travel and drive to corporate events as required.
Pay Rate: Up to $77 per hour
Schedule: 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week
Location: Long Island, NY
