Senior Project Manager – Finance contract opportunity with our client in New York City.

The Senior Project Manager – Finance is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed successfully, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role oversees risks, stakeholders, and resources effectively, while delivering high-impact financial systems projects across global regions.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and required resources.
  • Project Execution: Lead project teams to deliver all activities on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, core team members, and extended project teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Communication: Report project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsors.
  • Resource Management: Optimize use of personnel, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency.
  • Quality Management: Ensure project deliverables meet required quality standards and processes are consistently followed.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to scope, schedule, or budget with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Project Closure: Confirm all deliverables are complete and projects are closed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5–10 years of Project Management experience
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems and Oracle data migration
  • Background in financial systems (Oracle EBS or SAP)
  • Global project experience across LATAM, EMEA, and NA
  • Full project management lifecycle experience
  • Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives

  • Experience driving change management in global financial systems

Pay Rate: $70-75 hour
