System Technical Program Manager

Role Overview

The System Technical Program Manager will provide operational and technical leadership for high-volume consumer hardware programs, ensuring product quality, manufacturing scalability, and on-time execution.

The role serves as a key Operations technical representative and works closely with Hardware Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Development, CM/ODM partners, and factory teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Operations teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
• Drive technical readiness from early product development through NPI and mass production.
• Serve as a key technical interface across Hardware Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Development, and factory teams.
• Drive manufacturing process optimization, factory yield improvement, and quality control strategies.
• Identify, track, and mitigate technical, manufacturing, and program risks.
• Resolve complex production issues and bottlenecks that impact factory operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to align equipment requirements and validate technical solutions.
• Manage issue prioritization, escalation, and closure across global teams.
• Analyze manufacturing and program data to assess program health and support decision-making.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain clear communication and program transparency across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management.
• Experience working with consumer hardware products.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams involving Engineering, Product Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier Development.
• Experience in consumer hardware design, NPI, mass production, and manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
• Experience working with CM/ODM manufacturing partners.
• Experience in factory yield optimization, assembly automation, and supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as FMEA, statistical analysis, and failure analysis.
• Strong ability to break down complex technical challenges into actionable workstreams.
• Proven ability to lead complex operational programs and adapt plans as situations evolve.
• Strong data analysis, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management.
• Experience working with consumer hardware products.
