  • Material Program Manager will manage materials planning and CTB (clear to build) process with suppliers and OEMs, ensuring that we have efficient process and clear visibility on our procurement strategy and execution. Job Description

  • Clear-to-Build (CTB) Management: Provide visibility to materials supply, highlighting projected coverage and constraints. CTB projection govern what the Supply Demand Managers (SDM) can commit to customers and are a key input to revenue projections.
  • Partner with the CMs to develop a model that incorporates the specific supply chain and materials flow details to project availability in support of our supply/demand goals.
  • Create allocation strategies for constrained materials by developing models across factories, programs, and lines of business.
  • Identify Excess and Obsolescence (E&O) and other material risk, recommend critical course of action to leadership, and own efforts to mitigate liability to the business.
  • Develop strategic roadmap for the phase-out of obsolete parts and new product materials.
  • Prepare and communicate critical materials updates at weekly Sustaining Executive Program reviews; maintain executive reports and summaries, providing accurate and timely data to leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Through a deep understanding of our commodity terms, ensure the logistical flow of materials necessary to meet production schedules, inventory control requirements, and ongoing material line support.
  • Onsite CM and sub-tier supplier support.
  • Partner with vendors, distributors, and CM to expedite shipping of orders whenever necessary, to meet manufacturing deadlines.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management within a functional role in supply planning, fulfillment, operations management, inventory management, and procurement.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of Supply Chain Planning systems and processes.
  • Preferred but not limited to bachelors degree in engineering, a related discipline, or MBA with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience with consumer products or electronics Contract Manufacturing.
  • Experience driving process improvement projects from idea to implementation and adoption.
  • Experience in hardware product supply chain delivery through the entire life cycle.
  • Ability to successfully work across multiple levels of the organization with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English.
