Director of Operations

Role Overview

As SCRG continues to expand its presence in Taiwan, we are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead our Taiwan organization.

Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this role will oversee the Taiwan team and be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing technical talent, strengthening customer partnerships, and supporting SCRG's long-term business growth.

This position is ideal for an experienced leader with a strong consumer electronics background who has successfully led engineering, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Taiwan Operations Leadership

• Lead the overall operation and development of the Taiwan organization.
• Build and lead high-performing Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Operations teams supporting global customer programs.
• Drive operational excellence and continuously improve service quality, execution efficiency, and organizational performance.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve technical, operational, and customer-related challenges.
• Establish scalable operational processes and best practices to support business growth.

Customer Success & Program Delivery

• Serve as the executive leader for customer operations in Taiwan.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and become a strategic partner for engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain execution.
• Work closely with Account Managers and the US headquarters to ensure successful delivery of customer programs.
• Support customer onboarding and help expand existing customer relationships.
• Review key deliverables before customer release and ensure high-quality execution across all
• programs.

People Leadership

• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering and operations talent.
• Build a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and leadership development.
• Establish clear organizational goals and drive accountability across teams.
• Develop future leaders to support SCRG's long-term growth in Taiwan.

Business & Site Management

• Lead Taiwan site operations, including organizational planning, budget management, and resource
• allocation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and operational governance.
• Represent SCRG Taiwan in legal and operational matters as required.
• Partner with the US headquarters to support strategic initiatives, organizational growth, and new service capabilities.
• While business development is primarily led by the US headquarters, leverage industry
• relationships to support customer growth and identify potential business opportunities whenever possible.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the consumer electronics industry is required.
• Strong technical background in Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, technical program management, or related functions.
• Proven success leading and developing cross-functional organizations.
• Strong understanding of product development, New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing, and global supply chain operations.
• Experience working with Brand, ODM, OEM, or EMS companies.
• Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to communicate effectively at the executive level.
• Experience managing organizational budgets, operational planning, and resource allocation.
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to work directly with the US headquarters, global teams, and international customers.
• Strong leadership, ownership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
