Key Responsibilities

Manage OK2Build deliverables in new product introduction phases to ensure the readiness of the suppliers manufacturing process and quality controls before each build:

Develop/implement/monitor supplier Quality Control Plans for early detection of quality issues to ensure parts meet or exceed quality and reliability requirements.

Lead CNC & Polishing process qualification, including machine, fixture, cutter, polishing consumables to support project ramp up.

Evaluate potential suppliers for their manufacturing and quality capabilities based on project needs.

Conduct 3D/2D drawings review and drive issue closure with product design/ENG team;

Review and approve DFM for CNC machining & polishing processes and fixture kick off;

Analyze yield data and FAI/CPK reports to assess suppliers capability to meet design intent, plan and conduct DOE to improve process efficiency, reduce cycle time, and increase functional, cosmetic, and dimensional yields;

Measuring GRR/correlation improvement at vendor, work with CM/vendor on measuring correlation.

Participate in supplier's design review, product validation, design verification, Risk Management plans/reports (DFMEA, PEMEA).

Perform risk analyses for existing and new raw materials/components.

Requirements:

5 years or above MPE experience in Phone Assembly Process, CNC, and or MIM for mechanical components.

Have experience on folding screen phone rotary draw assembly is a plus.

Experience with interpretation of design drawings/GD&T, schematics, and cosmetic standards for creation.

Ability to work & communicate with written English and basic verbal communication.

Strong skills leading problem-solving processes: problem definition, containment, occurrence/escape root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action planning and execution.

Good schedule management skills and ability to follow up with supplier to monitor progress.

Careful and patient person, good ability to write and check reports.

Able to review measurement SOP and measurement jig qualifying or improving driving
