Manufacturing Engineer - SMT

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct DFM review. Carry out process development, characterization, and optimization for NPI projects

• Evaluate if the process capability can meet the design intent and provide the feedback through the process validation

• Provide on-site monitoring to ensure the parts produced following the defined quality control plan

• Identify equipment, fixture and tooling needs and drive implementation schedules and efforts to qualify and optimize the manufacturing process

• Resolve quality issues, identify root cause and implement effective and sustainable countermeasures

• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in consumer electronics/ automotive industries

• BS degree (or above) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience

• Experience/knowledge in SMT and FATP process

• Experience on fixture design, automation and process development, qualification and monitoring.

• Ability to use common data analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, etc.)

• Good English communication skills
