About the job Operation Cost Program Manager
Responsibilities
Define methodology for Operating Cost of Goods Sold (OCOGS) management. Serve as an Operations Cost Manager lead and Single Source of Truth for all non-BOM related costs for assigned products.
Drive actionable analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction opportunities and investment prioritization and efficiency improvements.
Partner closely with Finance teams, including Supply Chain Finance, Accounting, and Financial Operations to ensure companys accounting, compliance, and other financial requirements are supported.
Analyze and provide the industry benchmarks for the total Operating Cost of Goods Sold (OCOGS) and for individual OCOGS line items for different tier products. Oversee the development and tracking of accurate driver level cost models from concept to design stages and through entire product lifecycle.
Utilize industry knowledge, analytics, industry data, and other inputs to identify inefficiencies and opportunities.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program management or product management
Experience working with multiple cross-functional partners
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with hardware consumer product management
Experience with Product, Engineering, Communications, Finance, with working knowledge of Marketing, Sales, Legal, HR, and Operations
Ability to inspire trust by demonstrating sound judgment and integrity
Excellent business acumen, problem solving, strategic, and analytical skills
Excellent project and program management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
