MTAE

Responsibilities

1. Develop/maintain consumer electronic factory test stations with a focus on display or automatic optical inspection.

2. Own test script development / validation / debugging, fixture bring up /calibration / audit, and overall test automation support.

3. Drive station troubleshooting and issue investigation and provide timely build data analysis, with the goal of improving test algorithms and stabilizing station hardware setup.

4. Provide onsite support throughout the production lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

1. BS degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.

2. Have three years experience as a design or test engineer in the consumer electronics manufacturing industry. Familiar with FATP test processes.

3. Proficient in Python coding.

4. Domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas: optics, display, computer vision.

5. Experience in software and hardware debug, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.

6. Can read and write in English as a working language.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in optics/display/AOI test.

2. Familiar with optical instrument calibration.

3. Familiar with image processing and computer vision algorithms.

4. Experience in machine learning / deep learning model training and deployment.

5. Familiar with manufacturing test automation systems with onsite support experience.

6. Familiar with mechanical design and validation.

7. Experience working with ODM / OEM / JDM and CM partners.
