Display Quality Engineer

Work location: Qingdao, Dongguan or other cities if needed.

Responsibilities

• Working with Display engineering team and purchasing team on the supplier selection;
  Risk assessment and qualification for both product and process of Display module and its components suppliers and subassembly level manufacturer.

• Quality plan definition, alignment and execution for the suppliers and subassembly level manufacturer which includes PFMEA, control plan, CTQ processes, correlated inspection and testing between suppliers and subassembly level manufacturer, reliability qualification and monitoring plan, quality reporting, traceability etc;

• Working with the engineering team on process development for the display module and its components level part in the develop stages.

• Process audit and monitoring in display and its components level part manufacturer for risk assessment and improvement.

• Leading for quality problem solving and yield improvement for display module and its components level part.

• Proactive quality monitoring system setup for the purchased display module and components level part in supplier factory.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or above in engineering;
  At least 5 years hands on working experience with at least 3 years working experience in fast consumer electrical industry as Display quality, process, or R&D engineer.

• Expert process experience on display components technology as well as the manufacturing process, FATP experience is a plus.

• Deep understanding for both TFT and OLED front end/back end, and also BLU process and quality control;

• Familiar with DFM (design for manufacture), DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC and sampling plan definition etc quality tools;

• Certified Quality Engineer, 6sigma black belt is a plus.

• Fluent English skill.

• Can accept fluent travel (Up to 50%) under high pressure.
