Quality Technical Program Manager

Role Overview

The Quality Technical Program Manager will drive product quality across the full lifecycle of consumer hardware products, from early development through launch and post-launch support.

The role will establish product quality standards and metrics, lead cross-functional quality initiatives, drive failure analysis and root cause investigations, and use data to improve product and process quality across product generations.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, deliver, and maintain product quality standards, metrics, dashboards, and reporting processes for consumer hardware products.
• Lead cross-functional teams on quality initiatives and drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Evaluate product quality during development and post-launch phases.
• Report product quality health on a regular cadence and use results to drive product and process improvements.
• Lead failure analysis investigations for product issues in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Drive cross-functional workstreams with end-to-end ownership from issue identification through closure.
• Summarize critical findings and communicate quality risks and recommendations to broader stakeholders.
• Analyze large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions to support cross-functional decision-making.
• Partner with Early Engagement and Design teams to identify risks in next-generation products.
• Ensure lessons learned from previous product generations are incorporated into future designs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.
• Champion the voice of the customer when evaluating product quality decisions and recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in product quality, quality engineering, quality program management, or a related role.
• Experience supporting consumer electronics or high-volume hardware products.
• Strong knowledge of failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Experience developing and managing quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
• Experience working with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supplier teams.
• Experience supporting both NPI and post-launch product quality is preferred.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous product development environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in product quality, quality engineering, quality program management, or a related role.
• Experience supporting consumer electronics or high-volume hardware products.
• Strong knowledge of failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Experience developing and managing quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
• Experience working with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supplier teams.
• Experience supporting both NPI and post-launch product quality is preferred.
