We are looking for a talented Events Operations Director with at least 5 years of proven experience, specifically in managing both mega and small events and possessing expertise in ticketing management. The ideal candidate is passionate about the events industry, eager to contribute their skills to our team, and has a keen interest in being part of impactful events across the region.
As an Events Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and management of all event operations within our organization. You will lead a team of Event Operations Managers and Specialists, ensuring the successful delivery of various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of all event operations, ensuring they align with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Timely laying of groundwork to make sure events can lauch with certainty regarding dates and venue
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to a team of Event Operations Managers and Specialists.
- Conduct regular team meetings, set performance goals, and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments to schedule and plan event assignments, including logistics, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with external vendors to negotiate contracts, secure necessary services, and coordinate event logistics.
- Review event contracts in detail with senior management, ensuring clarity and accuracy of terms and conditions.
- Ensure that contractual terms, including payment terms and dates, are adhered to throughout the event lifecycle.
- Monitor expenses and labor costs to meet budget parameters while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor the delivery of all goods and services to ensure that contractual terms and client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies that may arise during events.
- Prioritize client satisfaction by maintaining open communication and providing solutions to enhance the event experience.
- Collect payments from clients and stakeholders in accordance with contract terms.
- Prepare and submit all necessary financial documentation and post-event reports to the finance department promptly.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and reconciliation of event expenses.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in event operations management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and delivering successful events.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Certification in Event Management or related field is a plus.
