Superstuff is hiring for our Brand Partner, a leading pet care brand, seeking a talented and experienced UX Lead to drive the user experience design for their design engineering applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional design engineering and a deep understanding of customer journey UX perspectives. As the UX Lead, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-friendly, and impactful designs that enhance their product offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the UX design process from concept to completion for our design engineering applications, including our website (India and Singapore) and iOS & Android apps.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user-centric design solutions.
- Develop detailed wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Create and maintain design documentation, including personas, customer journey maps, and interaction models.
- Mentor and guide junior UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
- Advocate for best practices in UX design, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across all products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the design process and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on design engineering applications and functional design engineering.
- Proven experience in leading UX design projects and teams, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Invision, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to deliver optimal solutions.
