The Right Candidate Will


  • Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, techniques, and methodologies.

  • Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

  • Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools.

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or similar.

  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • ISTQB certification or any relevant testing certifications are a plus.

Responsibilties


  • Conduct manual testing of web applications, Android apps, and APIs to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand project requirements and gather testable features.

  • Perform functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and stability.

  • Verify defect fixes and track the resolution process to ensure proper closure of reported issues.

  • Document test results, defects, and test artifacts using standard tools and methodologies.

  • Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot reported defects.

  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies to improve the testing process.

  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities to contribute to process improvements and innovation.

Education Background (any)


  • Bachelors in Technology (B. Tech.)

  • Masters in Technology (M. Tech.)

  • Masters in Computer Applications (M.C.A.)
