The Right Candidate Will
Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, techniques, and methodologies.
Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools.
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or similar.
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
ISTQB certification or any relevant testing certifications are a plus.
Responsibilties
Conduct manual testing of web applications, Android apps, and APIs to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand project requirements and gather testable features.
Perform functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and stability.
Verify defect fixes and track the resolution process to ensure proper closure of reported issues.
Document test results, defects, and test artifacts using standard tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot reported defects.
Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies to improve the testing process.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities to contribute to process improvements and innovation.
