SummitNext is looking for an HR Lead to manage end-to-end expatriate employment compliance in line with MDEC, Immigration Department of Malaysia, and other government requirements. ( Malaysian only )
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full Employment Pass (EP) lifecycle - new applications, renewals, amendments, transfers, endorsements, cancellations
- Handle MDEC quota applications and monitor utilization
- Process Immigration applications: PVP, Dependant Pass, LTSVP, Special Pass, VDR, pass transfers/cancellations, change of employer
- Prepare and maintain all required documentation (contracts, offer letters, licenses, tax documents, etc.)
- Coordinate expatriate onboarding - entry visas, medical exams, HRIS/payroll registration
- Monitor visa expiry and manage renewals, amendments, and exit/cancellation processes
- Act as primary liaison with MDEC, Immigration Dept, ESD, LHDN, and embassies
- Maintain expatriate records and prepare monthly compliance reports
- Keep policies/SOPs updated with regulatory changes
Requirements
- Experience in HR administration, with exposure to expatriate/foreign worker documentation an advantage
- Familiarity with Employment Pass or MDEC processes is a strong plus (training can be provided)
- Immigration Dept process knowledge helpful but not mandatory
- Strong documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
