We are currently hiring on behalf of our Australian client, an innovative technology company developing an AI-powered SaaS platform that is transforming how food and beverage companies develop, review, and approve products. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely with an experienced Australian engineering team while contributing to cutting-edge AI-driven solutions used by leading businesses worldwide.


Position

Full-Stack Developer (AI-Focused)

Employment Type: Remote Contract (Minimum 6 Months, with strong potential for long-term engagement)

Location: Remote (Open to offshore candidates)

Working Hours: Australian Business Hours (AEST/AEDT)

Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level (1–5 years)

Salary Range

Junior Level (1–2 years' experience):
RM3,500 – RM5,000 per month

Mid-Level (3–5 years' experience):
RM6,000 – RM9,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing a modern AI-powered SaaS platform.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Build, develop, and deploy full-stack features using Next.js, Golang, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • Collaborate closely with the AI engineering team to design and implement AI-powered features that improve compliance and product development workflows.
  • Work with a small Australian-based engineering team, including developers, product managers, and compliance specialists.
  • Participate in system architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
  • Troubleshoot, optimise, and continuously improve application performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to product enhancements and influence technical direction.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions in an agile development environment.

Mandatory Technical Skills (Compulsory)

Candidates must have hands-on experience with the following technologies:

Core Tech Stack

  • Next.js
  • Golang (Go)
  • PostgreSQL
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services)

Candidates without experience in the above core technologies will not be considered.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:

  • AI / Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • DevOps practices
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Automated testing
  • Cloud-native application development
  • RESTful APIs
  • Git version control

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • 1–5 years of full-stack development experience.
  • Strong experience developing modern web applications.
  • Experience working across both frontend and backend development.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Experience designing scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI technologies and practical LLM applications.
  • Ability to take ownership of features and deliver high-quality solutions independently.
