Job Openings Head of Product

About the job Head of Product

We’re partnering with an early-stage health technology company building a new category of software for healthcare operations. They are looking for a Product Lead who thrives in ambiguity, works directly with customers and engineers, and is comfortable going from customer conversation to working prototype to shipped product.

This is not a traditional product management role. The successful candidate will be a hands-on builder who can personally prototype, test ideas quickly, work directly with healthcare executives, and own the entire customer-to-product feedback loop.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate the needs of healthcare executives, frontline leaders, and technology stakeholders into shipped products.

  • Work directly with the founders and Head of Engineering to connect customer needs with engineering priorities.

  • Build and test prototypes using tools such as Figma, Cursor, and other AI-assisted development tools.

  • Own product experiences across UI, backend systems, workflows, and integrations.

  • Build the product analytics strategy from the ground up.

  • Spend significant time with customers understanding problems that may not yet be clearly defined.

  • Rapidly test, iterate, and ship solutions in an early-stage environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10 years of product management experience, ideally within health tech.

  • Direct health tech experience is required.

  • Proven experience working in pre-product-market fit or early post-PMF environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to personally prototype and demo products—not simply write requirements or specifications.

  • Strong customer-facing presence and the ability to build credibility with healthcare executives.

  • Technical fluency across platform architecture, data models, integrations, and basic SQL.

  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and defining products when the customer problem is still evolving.

  • Based in New York City or willing to relocate and work in-office Tuesday through Thursday.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

You’ll join at a stage where the product—and potentially an entirely new category—is still being shaped. You’ll work directly with the founding team, have significant influence over what gets built, and operate with the speed and ownership typically unavailable in larger organizations.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build, not simply manage a roadmap.
