Overview:

Strong Force Staffing is excited to partner exclusively with Innovative Health to recruit for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in geriatrics. This is a unique opportunity to work in Bakersfield, CA, with an exceptional quality of life:

Panel Size: 125 to 135 patients

Daily Census: 4 to 6 patients per day

Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends, and no after-hours on-call

Position Highlights:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $145,000 to $165,000 annually

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments for geriatric patients.
• Develop and oversee personalized care plans, emphasizing patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic healthcare services.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and treatment options.
• Document medical history and care plans accurately in electronic medical records.
• Stay updated on geriatric medicine advancements to improve care practices.

Qualifications:

• Active California NP license.
• Proven experience working with geriatric patients.
• Preferred: Experience with PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) or willingness to train.
