Job Brief:

Strong Force Staffing, a leading Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) provider, is currently recruiting for the position of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) for a valued client agency in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This vital field role entails providing therapeutic interventions to home health patients, supporting their rehabilitation and improving their quality of life. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of up to $45 per hour, depending on experience, and a $2,000 signing bonus after the successful completion of a 90-day probation period. The final hiring decision will be made by our client agency.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and proper techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• Certification: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L)
• Experience: Prior experience in home health is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in therapy software and documentation.
