This is a senior leadership role overseeing multiple high-volume inpatient units, including two PCUs, Oncology/Blood Cancer, and Renal Transplant services. The units run full and require a director who understands throughput, staffing pressure, and accountability at scale.

This position reports directly to the VP of Nursing Operations and carries true operational authority.

Scope of Responsibility

• Oversight of 78 inpatient beds

• Leadership of approximately 200 FTEs

• Full operational, quality, and financial accountability

• Drives patient experience, staff engagement, and clinical outcomes

Required Experience

• 2+ years of recent PCU acute care leadership

• BSN required; MSN preferred

• Active Texas RN or compact license

• BLS & ACLS required

Compensation

• Salary Range: $95,004 – $142,506 (based on leadership experience)

• Sign-on and relocation considered case by case

• Comprehensive benefits and retirement plan
