Survey Crew

Position: Survey Crew Chief

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a leading surveying company, we pride ourselves on delivering accurate and efficient surveying services to our clients. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to lead our survey crew and ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a survey crew, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and training, and evaluating performance

- Conduct field surveys using various equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners

- Perform boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and other types of surveying as needed

- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all survey data collected

- Communicate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress

- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the field

- Complete project documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner

- Mentor and train junior survey crew members to develop their skills and knowledge

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in surveying technology and techniques

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in surveying

- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners

- Strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Experience with AutoCAD or other surveying software is preferred

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
