Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dependable individual to join their San Mateo, CA team as a Staff Associate, Psychopharmacology, for their clinical program.

As part of the Clinical Administration team, you will play a critical role in supporting clinicians, patients, and families throughout the treatment process by providing administrative functions. Your contributions will help create a seamless experience for patients and their families while supporting clinicians in delivering high-quality psychopharmacological care.
This is a non-exempt, full-time, fully on-site position located in the San Francisco Bay Area (San Mateo). The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality patient experience for families receiving care.
- Manage clinicians' calendars ensuring efficiency of clinical time and schedule appointments in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Facilitate the flow of phone and email communication between clinicians and patients.
- Collect initial patient information, perform intakes and coordinate services.
- Check in patient appointments and process daily billing through the EMR system.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and strictly protect personal health information.
- Manage prescription requests through the prescription inbox working closely with pharmacies and insurance companies to ensure accuracy.
- Handle prior authorizations and appeals for medication requests.
- Provide psychopharmacology support coverage for additional team members as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative or office experience required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Special Considerations:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $57,000 - $62,000 USD annually.
