Our client is looking for a detail-oriented, energetic Sales Coordinator to contribute to the achievement of company sales targets and strategy by supporting sales leads, coordinating sales activities, and growing strong customer relationships. The Sales Coordinator's responsibilities include supporting sales initiatives across various channels, coordinating with internal departments, handling administrative duties, and promoting customer satisfaction.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Supports the sales team in day-to-day tasks and communications relating to customer accounts with a focus on building relationships with customers and cross functional teams
- Provides excellent customer service to retailers and responds to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Research and resolve customer issues while identifying the root cause
- Utilize retailer portals to pull reporting, maintain items, and audit content
- Conduct and execute special projects as required
- Maintain customer assortment grids and price lists
- Assist with customer analysis as needed; including, organizing selling reports, web audits, pricing and assortment analyses
- Join customer calls and act as point of contact in Sales Lead's absence
- Establish self as a purpose-driven brand representative and maintain a clear understanding of all product features and benefits
Skills & Attributes
- Must be able to work to very high standards of accuracy.
- Must be self-driven and work independently with minimal supervision.
- The ability to multitask and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to learn/operate numerous systems and web-based platforms
Experience Required
- 2-3 years customer service or inside sales experience.
- Experience in wholesale or retail preferred
- Motivated, enthusiastic self-starter who is able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
