This is a full-time position based in New York City, with a hybrid schedule requiring four days per week in the Manhattan office.

This role will be a key member of the Finance team, responsible for performing payroll and credit card management processes across three legal entities. Under the direction of the Manager of Business Services, this role involves preparing semi-monthly payroll and associated payroll benefits entries, administration of the corporate credit cards expense management system, and liaising between the Finance Department and other departments to ensure timely submission of credit card receipts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare semi-monthly payroll and benefit entries to the general ledger and partner with HR/Payroll department
- Administer corporate credit cards expense management system and ensure timely submission of receipts by cardholders
- Administer virtual credit cards
- Provide recurring credit cards expense management system training to cardholders
- Reconcile credit card statements on monthly basis
- Serve as a back-up for the Accounts Payable team
- Help with the month-end close process
- Help prepare schedules and analysis for the annual financial audit
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of professional nonprofit accounting experience
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience communicating and explaining complex financial information
- Experience manipulating, organizing and presenting large amounts of data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with non-profit enterprise software, such as SAGE Intacct, Expensify, Workday, Financial Edge, or similar required
Special Considerations:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,573 - $81,966 USD annually.
