About the job Front Desk Receptionist
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team as a Front Desk Receptionist.
The Receptionist will work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to greet staff, patients, their families, and guests during their visits. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday through Friday position. The hours are 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager this is an non-exempt, full-time position located in their NYC headquarters office.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet employees, patients, research participants and all other guests
- Ensure all visitors follow company safety protocols
- Direct visitors to the appropriate department or clinician ensuring that appointments start on time
- Answer and direct calls from the main phone line Schedule appointments for the intake department
- Act as a resource to families, providing answers to frequently asked questions
- Assist with all tasks associated with proper opening and closing procedures
- Assist with scoring psychological measurements
- Maintain all waiting areas ensuring readiness, cleanliness and that sufficient PPE supplies are consistently available
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of related experience and/or training
- Comfortable working with computer programsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to appropriately handle sensitive information with discretionAdheres to safety policies and requirements
- Professional demeanor and attitude; ability to interface with families as well as senior leadership, clinicians, and staff
- Self-starter and team player, able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Positive attitude, energetic, and interested in working in health care

Special Considerations:
The salary range for the position is $43,000 - $45,000 (USD) annually.
Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
