Position Overview

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Salesforce platform, ensuring seamless integration with business processes. Reporting to the Director, Business and Application Support, this role involves technical development, system enhancements, and support for Salesforce and Marketo applications. The developer collaborates with stakeholders to optimize solutions while maintaining security and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and implement Apex, Lightning (Aura & LWC), Visualforce pages, and SOQL/SOSL queries.
  • System Integration: Build and maintain APIs (REST/SOAP/Metadata) and automate processes between Salesforce and external applications.
  • Security & Performance: Ensure data security, system stability, and compliance while identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
  • Enhancements & Automation: Implement Einstein Analytics, AI, and automation solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Technical Support: Provide incident resolution, application maintenance, and user support, including training and troubleshooting.
  • Business Collaboration: Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and execute system upgrades.
  • Project Management: Estimate project scope, design, develop, test, and deploy scalable solutions following best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation, system optimization, and efficiency enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Digital Experience Cloud).
  • Expertise in Apex, Flows, LWC, SOQL, Triggers, Batch Apex, and APIs.
  • Experience with Marketo, Einstein Analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong system architecture, security, and performance optimization knowledge.
  • Ability to analyze data, automate business processes, and support CRM tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
