About the job Physical Therapist
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and screenings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with functional goals.
- Administer therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment as needed based on patient progress.
- Educate patients and families to support continued care and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Stay up to date with continuing education and participate in professional development activities.
- Assist with training new staff and mentoring physical therapy students.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an APTA-approved bachelor's program (or foreign equivalent).
- Licensure: Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Arizona.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience: Recent experience working with adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting is preferred.
