MUST HAVES:

  • 5+ years of proven sales success in freight brokerage, logistics, freight forwarding, specialized freight, ground transportation.
  • Ability for local travel to visit clients.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Highly organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple client interactions efficiently
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop solutions for complex supply chain challenges
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelors degree required


The Freight Forwarding Sales Executive will lead the charge to develop new commercial business in the U.S. 

  • Youll be responsible for identifying new clients and selling our logistics solutions. A hunter mentality is a must in this role. 
  • Youll work collaboratively with our operations team to implement services and solutions for your clients and support our growth goals.
  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining and closing new business; arrange daily business development meetings with prospective clients
  • Become a subject matter expert on our services offered, and remain up to date on industry related news
  • Meet weekly with operations management and develop close and cooperative working relationships with operations staff to ensure customer needs and company objectives are being met
  • Develop a growth strategy and set quotas focused both on financial gain and profitability to meet ambitious revenue targets
  • Follow up with new clients and operations to ensure a seamless implementation when onboarding new clients
  • Perform market research to continually identify new pipeline opportunities; presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers

1 or 2 meetings yearly with overnight travel.
