Optometrist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye conditions.
• Diagnose and treat vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper use of eyewear.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage patient care.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice optometry in Florida.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of eye health and visual disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
