Junior Manager Cold Chain - Karachi

Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Manager Cold Chain to oversee and optimize the cold chain operations, ensuring efficient temperature-controlled logistics, storage, and distribution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product integrity, compliance with regulatory standards, and improving supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cold Chain Management: Monitor and manage the transportation, storage, and distribution of temperature-sensitive products.
• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP guidelines.
• Process Optimization: Implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce wastage, and minimize temperature deviations.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with logistics partners, warehouses, and suppliers to maintain cold chain integrity.
• Technology & Monitoring: Utilize temperature tracking systems and data analytics to ensure real-time monitoring of cold chain operations.
• Inventory & Stock Control: Ensure proper handling and storage of perishable goods to prevent loss.
• Team Management: Train and guide warehouse and logistics personnel on cold chain best practices.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports on temperature deviations, cost analysis, and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Degree Chemicals or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in cold chain logistics, preferably in the FMCG, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of refrigeration systems, temperature monitoring devices, and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and optimize logistics processes.
• Communication & Coordination: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
