About the job Head of Tax Advisory Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the companys strategic vision and business plans.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand service offerings and client base
- Implement best practices in tax advisory, planning, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in tax advisory and compliance
- Lead and motivate the executive team and staff to achieve organizational goals
- Build and maintain strong relationship with clients, address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly and effectively
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks, stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry trends
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- Masters degree in taxation, Law, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Certified Public Tax Accountant(CPTA) or equivalent certification (required)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax advisory and compliance services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of success in managing a tax advisory firm or department
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
