About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Engineering to join our innovative team. You will play a key role in leading and executing high-impact technical projects while mentoring engineers, staying hands-on, and ensuring alignment with business strategy in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
Drive Technical Excellence: Lead major technical initiatives, ensuring architectural soundness, scalability, and long-term impact.
Own Delivery: Oversee full project lifecycles from design to deployment with a focus on speed, quality, and reliability.
Lead by Example: Stay hands-on as a full-stack engineer, setting the technical bar and shipping code when needed.
Grow the Team: Mentor, coach, and inspire engineers to continuously level up their skills and deliver their best work.
Align with the Business: Partner with product, design, and other stakeholders to align engineering with strategic goals.
Operate with Agility: Navigate the fast pace of startup life with creativity, ownership, and bias for action.
Qualifications
Full-Stack Experience: 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with a strong track record building and deploying web applications end-to-end to the cloud.
- Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in both backend and frontend development, with hands-on proficiency in:
Team Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, ideally in high-growth startups.
Strong Communicator: Clear, concise, and proactive in technical discussions and team collaboration.
Startup Agility: Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments with cross-functional teams.
Relocation Ready: Willing to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand, and thrive in a multicultural team.
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Language Proficiency
Excellent communication in English (both written and verbal); capable of handling high-level conversations.
