About the Role

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving company's growth, expanding its market presence, and fostering partnerships to strengthen its brand in the O2O ecosystem. This dynamic role also involves recruitment, onboarding of service providers, and managing P&L, requiring a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to help scale the business effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to achieve growth objectives, increase market share, and enhance brand reputation

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of operations, including customer acquisition, service delivery, vendor management, and financial performance

  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, and lead a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment

  • Customer Experience: Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and efficient service delivery, resolving issues promptly, and implementing feedback mechanisms

  • Technology Integration: Leverage technology to streamline operations, enhance customer experience, and drive business growth

  • Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to maximize profitability

  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships to expand the business's reach and offerings

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and local authorities

  • Drive the business forward as if it were your own, managing all aspects of daily operations

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in business development or operational roles, ideally in an O2O service environment

  • Strong background in P&L management and business development

  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to recruit, onboard, and manage teams

  • Experience in developing and implementing SOPs

  • Familiarity with tech-driven businesses (e.g., apps, online platforms) is an advantage

  • Previous experience with other O2O services companies is highly desirable.

  • Highly motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
