About the Role
This role involves managing all aspects of company financing, including relationships with banks and financial providers, setting strategic financial goals, and ensuring funding for growth. It also includes overseeing investor relations, leading fundraising efforts, and directing finance and accounting functions to ensure financial health, profitability, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
Manage Company Financing:
Oversee end-to-end process from origination to drawdown, roll-over etc.: LC/TR (Letter of Credit/Trust Receipt), DLC/PN (Documentary Letter of Credit/Promissory Note), Project Financing, and other financing arrangements
Lead all relationships and partnerships with banks and other financial providers
Set short and long-term strategic financial objectives: control company financial model, prepare source of funds to enable forecasted growth, manage security and guarantees arrangement where required
Lead Investors Relationships:
Oversee relationships with current shareholders: monthly financials, quarterly update, BoD and AGM/EGM meetings, handling all shareholder requests
Cultivate potential investors and lead fundraising process: networking, pitching, preparation of dataroom, valuation and contract negotiations, deal closing
Direct Finance & Accounting Functions:
Evaluate and approve new projects: evaluate margin and cash flow requirements, ringfence budget, and prepare additional financing drawdown where required
Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and monthly/quarterly/annual reports. Track company & project cash flow and profitability to ensure targets met
Implement cost efficiency, margin enhancement, and growth plans
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role (e.g., Finance Director)
Skills: Strong financial and/or accounting background, proficiency in fundraising, financing, M&A,
budget management, and cash flow modeling
