As Sales Manager, your responsibilities involve establishing sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for channels like Modern Trade, HORECA, and E-Commerce and areas in support of national objectives together with customer business plans in collaboration with marketing, motivating the team and individual team members to achieve the highest work standards and to improve their performance.

Responsibilities

  • Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quotas for channels and areas in alignment with national objectives, in collaboration with Marketing and Customer Business Plans
  • Maintain and expand the customer base by counseling channel sales managers, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities
  • Implement trade promotions in conjunction with Marketing by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending
  • Take responsibility for increasing the market share of company products in the market
  • Develop and lead an effective go-to-market model for the market
  • Directly manage major and critical developing customer accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts
  • Conduct one-on-one reviews with all Account Executives to enhance communication, understand training and development needs, and provide insights for improving Account Executives' sales and activity performance 
  • Provide timely and accurate market intelligence to formulate pricing strategies and implement approved pricing structures on all company products while striving to maintain maximum profit margins
  • Establish sales forecasts and sales targets for nationwide sales teams.
  • Achieve sales operational objectives as outlined in the strategic plans and reviews
  • Additionally, contribute sales information and recommendations for the preparation of the strategic plan
  • Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
    5-8 years of experience in sales, preferably in modern trade and industry
  • A proven track record of success in sales
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Results-oriented, passionate, energetic, positive
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
